Wabtec Corp. has entered into a multiyear parts agreement with PT Imeco Inter Sarana to support PT Kereta Api Indonesia's (PT KAI) 150-locomotive fleet. The agreement provides service kits and training to PT KAI for maintenance of its locomotive fleet, enabling it to focus on improvement and expansion of passenger- and freight-rail service. Wabtec has worked with PT KAI for more than 70 years providing technical services and parts supply to more than 350 Wabtec locomotives in the fleet. The agreement also includes service kits and parts for 150 Wabtec CM20EMP locomotives, as well as overhaul kits to support localization of overhaul and remanufacturing activities.

Siemens Mobility was chosen by the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (GCRTA) to replace its Red Line fleet with 24 S200 light-rail vehicles. The contract includes an option for up to 36 additional vehicles to replace the Blue and Green line fleets. GCRTA's current heavy- and light-rail fleets are 39 and 42 years old, respectively, exceeding the design life of typical passenger-rail cars. Delivery of the new LRVs is expected to be completed in four years. The cars will feature two door heights for high- and low-level platform accessibility, allowing trains to operate on the tracks of all lines.

Hill International Inc. was selected by Virginia Railway Express (VRE) to provide program management consulting services for VRE's capital improvement program through an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract. Hill will support VRE staff with comprehensive schedule, budget, quality, procurement, document control and project management services with an estimated value of $6 million across four years of the agreement.
