CIT Group Inc. recently promoted Michael Keasling to senior vice president and named Gary Kearby vice president of freight-car leasing subsidiary CIT Rail.
Most recently VP of leasing rail resources, Keasling will be responsible for sales and product management of CIT Rail’s covered hopper and pressure differential car fleets. Prior to joining CIT Rail in 1997, he served as regional sales manager for GATX Rail, and held various sales positions at GE Railcar and Pullman Standard.
With 16 years of rail-related transportation and eight years of direct rail leasing experience, Kearby will be responsible for overseeing freight-car leasing and transportation services.
