Union Pacific Railroad has garnered recognition from yet another magazine. Human Resource Executive recently ranked the Class I No. 29 on its list of the "50 Most Admired for Human Resources®" companies.

Management consulting firm Hay Group asked more than 3,700 executives, directors and securities analysts from Fortune 1,000 companies to select the firms they most admired for quality of management, people management, innovativeness and quality of HR products and services offered.

UP also recently was named by BusinessWeek as one of the top 50 places to launch a career. In addition, the railroad has been recognized by Working Mother, GI Jobs, Latina Style and the U.S. Department of Defense for its workforce opportunities.
