Last week, Amtrak and the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen reached a tentative agreement on a contract covering 1,300 locomotive engineers.
Details on the agreement weren’t released pending ratification. The tentative contract will be sent to members, who will vote on the agreement within the next several weeks, according to Amtrak and the union.
