BNSF honors 10 companies for sustainable practices

BNSF Railway Co. yesterday recognized 10 customers for success in sustainable achievements.

The BNSF Sustainability Awards are presented annually to companies that are industry leaders in sustainable freight, BNSF officials said in a press release.

Award recipients are recognized for achievement in one of several categories, including supply-chain efficiencies; sustainable technology implementation; sustainability leadership and partnership with other like-minded organizations; and investments in sustainable infrastructure.

The 2023 award winners are: Amazon, American Honda, Chevron Renewable Energy Group, CMA CGM, Hereford Ethanol Partners, Maersk, Montana Renewables, Nucor, Shell Chemicals and Unilever.
