BNSF Railway Co. recently promoted Julie Piggott to vice president of finance and Paul Bischler to VP and controller. Both will report to Executive VP and Chief Financial Officer Tom Hund.
Most recently assistant VP of strategic and financial analysis, Piggott joined BNSF in 1991. She previously served as AVP of expedited services, consumer products, and AVP and assistant controller. Prior to BNSF, Piggott held various finance positions with accounting firm Ernst & Young and Corporate BancServices.
Most recently controller, Bischler joined BNSF in 1997. He previously served as AVP and assistant controller, and held numerous finance positions.
The Class I also announced Nick Murray, AVP of measurement, costing and decision support, will retire at July’s end, ending his 31-year BNSF career.
