New Jersey Transit recently contracted RailComm Inc. to install an Interlocked Service and Inspection Control System at Morrisville Yard. The contract is part of the agency’s $113 million yard expansion project.

RailComm will install its DOC:SCADA™ remote-control system, which will provide interlocking control of devices along two elevated inspection tracks within the Morrisville service and inspection facility. Workers will be able to remotely control catenary power, mobile gantries, facility doors and alarms using touch-screen interfaces.
