RailComm installs wireless control system on two crossovers at BNSF's Tulsa yard

RailComm Inc. recently added a Domain Operations Controller (DOC®) system to two additional crossovers at BNSF Railway Co.’s Tulsa, Okla., yard.

RailComm installed power switch machines, expanded a wireless network and improved an existing DOC® system to provide BNSF complete control of the crossovers. The company also reconfigured two existing work stations to provide a system dispatcher and remote maintainer simultaneous access to the stations.

RailComm’s system is designed to provide limitless control of devices, such as switch machines, derails and blur flags, within a 10-mile radius of the company’s RADiANT™ wireless network.
