Hutton Communications Inc. recently announced the company will distribute Raytheon Co.’s JPS Communications radio interoperability line to the Canadian market.

The radio systems enable emergency first responders with disparate audio devices to communicate with each other using existing devices.

Meanwhile, Hutton also named Rick Guipe senior vice president-sales. With 37 years’ experience in the wireless industry, he most recently served as vice president of sales for PCTEL and Tessco Technologies.

Hutton Communications distributes wireless communications products, including site infrastructure, broadband and related networking components.
