RailComm installs CTC on Music City Star corridor

RailComm Inc. recently implemented its DOC®:CTC Centralized Traffic Control system for Nashville’s Music City Star commuter-rail line and the Nashville & Eastern Railroad. The company also trained Nashville & Eastern personnel to operate the system.

The next-generation computer-aided dispatching system will be used to centrally control signal systems and interlockings along a 32-mile corridor linking Nashville and Lebanon, Tenn. Yesterday, the Regional Transportation Authority launched Music City Star commuter-rail service along the line, which is owned by the Nashville & Eastern.
