MTA New York City Transit’s Staten Island Railway recently installed Behlman Electronics Inc. 100 Hz signal sources to replace rotary generators at 17 stations.
The BL5100C-8-RR100 signal source/frequency converters feature input filtering, output transformer isolation, surge suppression, external sync and alarms.
The railway previously used a Behlman signal source to test signaling components and track sections. Now, the road has redesigned its existing signal system with Behlman signal sources at all stations.
