Union Switch & Signal Inc. (US&S) has a new leader, at least on an interim basis.
Yesterday, the company announced it named Emmanuel Viollet interim chief executive officer after President and CEO Kenneth Burk resigned to pursue opportunities in the engineering and construction industry. Burk had served as CEO since February 2001.
Currently senior vice president of business development for US&S parent Ansaldo STS, Violett has served Ansaldo Signal for many years in various business development and engineering positions.
Ansaldo STS will conduct a search for a new president and CEO for US&S, which provides signaling, automation, and control equipment and systems to the worldwide rail and mass transit industries.
