CN has set up its first Community Board to guide the company's Stronger Communities Fund decisions, as well as community partnerships in Edmonton, Alberta.The Edmonton committee is the first Community Board CN will establish as it prepares to mark its 100th anniversary next year, company officials said in a press release."Through the CN Community Boards we will be putting funding decisions in the hands of local community and business leaders who know their communities best," said Sean Finn, CN's executive vice president of corporate services and chief legal officer.A key focus of the boards will be supporting local, grassroots organizations with smaller grant funding requests.Doug Goss, general counsel and corporate secretary for Premium Brands Holding Co., will chair the Community Board in Edmonton.
