CN last week announced the Teamsters Canada Rail Conference (TCRC) has ratified a collective agreement with the Class I.
The union represents 6,000 CN locomotive engineers, conductors and yard conductors and coordinators working in Canada.
"We remain committed to working with this important group to ensure continued service for our customers and improved working conditions for our team members," said CN President and CEO Tracy Robinson in a press release.
The ratification vote passed with 70.7% in favor. The union’s general committees now will begin the implementation process with CN and TCRC officials said in a press release.
