Canadian Pacific today announced a slate of nine nominees standing for election as directors at the annual and special meeting scheduled for April 27.

The nominees are CP Chair Isabelle Courville, John Baird, CP President and CEO Keith Creel, Jill Denham, Edward Hamberger, Matthew Paull, Jane Peverett, Andrea Robertson and Gordon Trafton.

"With these nominees, the CP board will have nine exceptional members with a range of professional experience, including knowledge of the railway industry, as we head toward our historic integration of the Kansas City Southern into our network, pending approval of the U.S. Surface Transportation Board (STB)," Courville said in a press release.

Current CP directors Rebecca MacDonald and Ed Monser will not stand for re-election.

The board expects the STB to approve the CP and KCS merger in fourth-quarter 2022. After that approval, the CP board will add four current members from the KCS board, Courville said.
