CSX earns top Disability Equality Index score

CSX has been named one of the best places to work in the United States by the Disability Equality Index^®, the American Association of People with Disabilities (AAPD) and Disability:IN announced yesterday.

CSX earned a top score this year, marking the sixth consecutive time the railroad has landed on the index, according to a CSX press release.

A comprehensive benchmarking tool, the index measures key performance indicators across culture and leadership, enterprise-wide access, employment practices, community engagement and supplier diversity, the release said.

Achieving a top score underscores CSX's dedication to implementing best practices and policies that support employees with disabilities, CSX officials said. The Index is a joint initiative of Disability:IN and the AAPD and is aimed at driving transparency and progress in disability inclusion "across corporate America and beyond."
