CSX is combining its network operations and service design teams, and making personnel changes as part of the move.

The new group will be led by Casey Albright, who has been promoted to senior vice president of network operations and service design, according to a statement by Jamie Boychuk, executive VP of operations.

Formerly VP of service design, Casey will continue to oversee most of his current team, while adding responsibility for the majority of network operations and services organizations previously led by Brian Barr, who left CSX. Casey joined CSX in 1998.

Reporting to Casey in new roles will be:

• Guy Seguin, who is promoted to VP of network operations from general manager of dispatch. Guy will continue to lead his existing team while adding responsibility for crew management. GMs of network operations also will report to Guy, who came to CSX in July 2021 from Canadian Pacific, where he served as GM of operations.
• Chantel Goutcher, who is promoted to head of service design from senior director of operations integration. Goutcher’s group will include fuel strategy and utilization, service design, locomotive productivity, and scheduling and interline. Previously, Goutcher led strategy enablement and technology projects across all three operating groups. She has been with CSX for 28 years.
• Wally Sieruga, GM of the operations service group, whose responsibilities are expanding to include TRANSFLO operations, a role in which he will continue to meet with customers and deliver service design solutions. Sieruga joined CSX in 2018 after serving CN for 40 years.
