CSX Transportation recently named Lisa Mancini to the newly created post of vice president-strategic infrastructure initiatives.
Reporting to CSX Corp. Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer Michael Ward, she will be responsible for developing and implementing network solutions aimed at helping cities and states address transportation issues.
“Lisa will help our communities meet their transportation needs while increasing the capability of our freight-rail network to accommodate projected growth in demand over the next several years," said Ward in a prepared statement.
Most recently VP of labor relations, Mancini joined CSXT in 2003. She previously served as deputy executive director of the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency and chief operating officer of the San Francisco Municipal Railway, and held various operating executive positions at the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority.
