CSX's TDSI automotive facilities recognized for quality

CSX’s Total Distribution Services Inc. (TDSI) unloading facilities in Nashville, Tennessee, and Palm Center, Florida, have received the 2024 Destination Automotive Quality Excellence Award from the Association of American Railroads.

The awards were accepted at the recent Damage Prevention and Freight Claim Conference held in Minneapolis. The recognition marks only the second time that a railroad has won the award for multiple terminals in a single year, CSX officials said in a press release.

The Destination Automotive Quality Excellence Awards recognize outstanding performance in handling and unloading automobiles. The awards highlight facilities that excel in minimizing damage and ensuring the highest quality in automotive transport, according to the news release.

“Our teams at the Nashville and Palm Center facilities have demonstrated remarkable dedication to achieving and maintaining high standards, which directly benefits our customers and supports the overall reliability of our services,” said TDSI General Manager Bryce Thomas.
