Logistics services provider CaseStack recently moved its Southeastern Consolidation Center from Lithia Springs, Ga., to a newly renovated facility in Atlanta.The new center has access to a CSX Transportation line and all major surrounding interstates, CaseStack officials said in a press release. The company serves such retailers and grocery chains as Walmart, Kroger and Whole Foods."The benefits that we gain by making this transition ensures the continuous ability to exceed our customers' increasing demands for logistics efficiencies," said CaseStack Chief Operating Officer Steve Sezna.CaseStack also announced today that the Atlanta facility has expanded its Walmart consolidation program to include all 42 of the retailer's regional distribution centers. Over the past year, CaseStack has expanded six of its seven North American consolidation centers by either increasing square footage or moving to newly renovated buildings. The company also operates centers in Buena Park, Calif.; Dallas; Naperville, Ill; Scranton, Pa.; Kent, Wash.; and Toronto.
