Magazine names CSX among top employers for people with disabilities

CSX was named one of the Top 50 Employers by Careers & the disABLED magazine.

The magazine asked readers to identify private- and public-sector employers that they would most like to work for or that they believe would provide a progressive environment for people with disabilities. The employers were ranked according to the frequency they were noted by survey respondents. CSX landed at 48. 

CSX attributes its recognition in part to its Able Business Resource Group (ABLE). The group collaborates with CSX departments to design inclusive programs, improve business practices and create more accessible company facilities, CSX officials said in a press release.

ABLE also partners with community organizations such as the Special Olympics Florida and the Wounded Warrior Project to promote inclusion and engagement in the communities the railroad serves.
