The Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) is investigating a March 6 head-on collision involving a Canadian Pacific high-rail track unit and a CP train near Chapleau, Ontario, the agency announced yesterday.

Two people were in the track unit and two people were onboard the train, but no one was hurt, according to a report by CBC News.

TSB also announced yesterday that it is investigating a March 2 runaway rail-car incident involving a third-party operator on CN track in Regina, Saskatchewan.

The rail car was full of asphalt when it rolled away from a co-op oil refinery complex and crossed seven city streets, the CBC reported. There were no injuries.
