The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has opened an investigation into a collision that occurred yesterday between a CSX freight train and a trolley operated by the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA).

Six people were injured in the incident, according to local news media reports. The crash occurred at about 8:30 a.m. Thursday in Darby, which is in Delaware County.

The NTSB sent a team yesterday to Darby to begin the investigation, the agency said on its website.
