The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) has published two new technical assistance resources to support respondents of the Transit COVID-19 Response Program Information Collection mandatory reporting requirement.

The Reporting Applicability Overview clarifies who must report to the new online application, and the Recurring Form Template assistants Section 5311 recipients with collecting data on behalf of their sub-recipients.

Last month, the FTA launched a mandatory reporting requirement that will use the reported information to inform FTA actions in support of the transit industry's COVID-19 recovery efforts and implementation of the federal mask mandate for public transportation.

The first deadline for reporting is April 16.
