The Surface Transportation Board yesterday issued instructions in preparation for its Sept. 16-17 hearing on freight-rail industry trends and strategies.
The hearing will be held at the board’s headquarters in Washington, D.C., and will begin each day at 9 a.m. EDT. This is a change from the previously noted start time, STB officials said in a press release.
The notice sets the schedule of appearances, the time allotted to each speaker or group, and provides specific instructions for panelist participation. Panelists who wish to make a visual presentation should email a copy of it to the board, at Hearings@stb.gov, no later than Sept. 12.
