STB releases details for CP-KCS merger hearing

The Surface Transportation Board late last week announced additional instructions for this week’s hearing on the proposed merger between Canadian Pacific and Kansas City Southern.

The notice sets the schedule of appearances and the time allotted to each speaker or group, and provides instructions for panelist preparation.

The public hearing will be held Sept. 28, 29 and 30 at the board’s headquarters in Washington, D.C., and will be available for viewing on the board’s YouTube page. Hearings will begin at 9 a.m. and end at 6 p.m. EDT each day.
