House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee Chairman Bill Shuster (R-Pa.) announced yesterday that Jim Billimoria will oversee the committee's communications and public relations for the 113th Congress.
Most recently, Billimoria served as communications director for the House Ways and Means Committee under Chairman Dave Camp (R-Mich.) and Ranking Member Jim McCrery (R-La.).
Prior to joining the Ways and Committee, Billimoria served in the press offices of Rep. Tom Price (R-Ga.) and House Republican Conference Chairwoman Deborah Pryce (R-Ohio).
Shuster praised Billimoria for his prior experience with the Capitol press corps and his communication skills in digital and traditional media.
"As the committee works to increase competitiveness, promote economic growth and strengthen our nation's transportation system this Congress, I look forward to Jim's contributions," said Shuster in a prepared statement.
