advertisement

The U.S. Department of Transportation is extending through Feb. 20 the comment period on whether it should amend the accessibility requirements for transportation facilities under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

The requirements in question are currently contained in appendix A to USDOT regulations governing transportation services for individuals with disabilities, according to a USDOT news release. The original notice for the possible change was published in the Federal Register in November 2023.
