Three entities have submitted bids on the second phase of California's high-speed rail system from Fresno to Bakersfield, California media reported over the weekend.The three joint venture organizations that submitted bids to design and build the second 60-mile segment are Dragados/Flatiron/Shimmick; Golden State Rail Partnership; and Tutor Perini/Zachry/Parsons, which is building the first 28-mile segment from Madera to Fresno.The contract for the second phase is expected to be worth $1.5 billion to $2 billion, according to a report on CBS Sacramento's website.
