AECOM names Elton HSR project director

AECOM recently appointed Martin Elton projects director for the firm’s U.S. High Speed Rail Practice.
He will be responsible for managing and delivering rail infrastructure projects, guiding them from the early feasibility stages to design and construction, business development and bid preparations.
During his 30-year career, Elton has worked on various transportation infrastructure projects, including those involving high-speed, light and heavy rail. He has helped oversee construction of the Channel Tunnel High-Speed Railway and Docklands Light Railway in London, as well as the Copenhagen Metro in Denmark.
