AECOM recently named Christopher Taylor U.S. deputy director for the high-speed rail practice of the company’s transportation business.
As project manager and lead track engineer for railroad right-of-way and station planning and design projects, Taylor supports the high-speed rail practice in developing and managing high-speed and intercity passenger rail planning and engineering products.
Most recently, he served as a senior manager in two nationally recognized engineering firms.
“Chris’s appointment to the U.S. high-speed rail practice demonstrates AECOM’s commitment to this emerging market and the recruitment of top talent to bring best-practice solutions to a client’s design challenges,” said Al Engel, vice president and U.S. high-speed rail director for AECOM in a prepared statement.
