In a deal with high-speed rail implications, AECOM Technology Corp. yesterday announced that it had agreed to acquire cost/project management consultancy Davis Langdon in a transaction valued at $324 million.
A global firm with clients in Africa, Australia and New Zealand, Europe, the Middle East as well as the United States, Davis Langdon serves public- and private-sector clients in a variety of markets. Davis Langdon’s high-profile project portfolio includes the Transbay Terminal in San Francisco and the Gautrain Rapid Rail Link in Johannesburg.
“Davis Langdon offers direct and relevant experience across conventional rail and high-speed rail, and we look forward to collaborating on rail projects around the world with our complementary suite of services,” according to an AECOM statement issued to HSRupdates.com.
Davis Langdon’s counterpart in Asia — Davis Langdon & Seah — will remain independent but continue to work with AECOM’s Davis Langdon operations under an existing collaboration agreement.
