Earlier this year, the American High Speed Rail Alliance (AHSRA) created the Standards, Regulatory and Interoperability Council, which will “seek to remove obstacles to innovation or new entrants, and will encourage evolution and growth of the high-speed rail market in America,” according to the alliance.
Last week, AHSRA announced it had named several council members, including Phil Davila of the Seneca Group (who will serve as chairman), Katherine Speak of Ansaldo STS USA, Richard Lockett of ERA, John Maynie of Invensys Rail, Brian Caine of Lockheed Martin and Armin Kick of Siemens.
AHSRA also will appoint representatives from Talgo, UNIFE and Vossloh Fastening Systems.
