Alstom to maintain high-speed trains for Turkish railway

The Turkish State Railways recently awarded a two-year, $28.7 million contract to Alstom Transport to provide maintenance services for 12 high-speed trains.
In operation since 2009, the trains operate 152 miles between Ankara and Eskisehir, and 192 miles between Ankara and Konya.
The contract includes preventative and corrective maintenance, daily vistas, and daily interior and exterior cleaning. It also includes heavy maintenance and damage repairs.
