CH2M Hill to acquire Booz Allen Hamilton's state, local government transportation consulting division

Yesterday, CH2M Hill announced it signed a definitive purchase agreement to acquire Booz Allen Hamilton’s state and local government transportation consulting business.
Booz Allen Hamilton provides management, system engineering, rolling stock, asset management, train control, and communication, safety and revenue system consulting services to transit and rail agencies throughout North America. The firm is divesting its state and local government transportation consulting business to “better align its contract portfolio with the company’s federal government business,” according to a press release.
The transaction is expected to close during the third quarter.
