CHSRA appoints Ross as deputy director of legislation

The California High-Speed Rail Authority (CHSRA) has hired its first senior staffer dedicated specifically to working with the state legislature.
As the authority’s deputy director of legislation, Karen Greene Ross will work to serve as a liaison between CHSRA and members of the legislature, and keep state lawmakers informed about the project.
Ross most recently was deputy controller for investments with the Office of the California State Controller. Prior to that, she served as deputy secretary for legislation in the California Business, Transportation and Housing Agency. Ross also has worked in both houses of the legislature as a committee consultant under three Senate and Assembly members.
