International, national and regional transportation experts will convene May 5 in Cincinnati to discuss the latest developments in urban and regional public transportation.

The European-American Chamber of Commerce Conference will “present a broad perspective on high-speed and commuter rail, comparing priorities of the U.S. and Europe and reflecting on the implications of those priorities on the Great Lakes Region,” according to a press release.

Deputy U.S. Transportation Secretary John Porcari will deliver the keynote address. Other speakers include Federal Railroad Administrator Joe Szabo, Ohio Department of Transportation Director Jolene Molitoris, SNCF Senior Vice President of International Business Development Hervé Le Caignec, GE Vice Chairman John Rice and Cincinnati Vice Mayor Roxanne Qualls.
