The Colorado Department of Transportation recently named Mark Imhoff director of the new Transit and Rail Division.
Created in 2009, the division will oversee the statewide transit program and has been charged with exploring potential new transit and rail services, including high-speed rail.
Imhoff has more than 30 years of transit and transportation experience, most recently serving as managing principal at Jacobs/Carter & Burgess, where he oversaw the firm’s contract for the Regional Transportation District of Denver’s (RTD) FasTracks program. Prior to joining Jacobs/Carter & Burgess, Imhoff was a senior manager for RTD.
