Florida DOT to host high-speed rail forum

On November 8 and 9, the Florida Department of Transportation will host an industry forum designed to “unite” business groups, economic development organizations and federal, state and local officials.
To be held at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, the forum will showcase the Tampa-to-Orlando high-speed rail project.
The program on November 8 will provide an overview and update of the project’s development; November 9 will focus on the six high-speed rail stations and highlights of the sites and development opportunities which could take place surrounding the stations.
The forum also will include a networking event.
