HSRupdates subscribers: Mark your calendars. On Oct. 5 at 1 p.m. (EDT), HSRupdates will host a webcast presented by Association for Public Transportation President Richard Arena. The topic? How to market high-speed rail.
Arena will discuss how high-speed rail in the United States has been mis-marketed to date, and suggest new ways to promote it to the American public and members of Congress. He’ll also propose a way to help pay for high-speed rail that “makes sense in terms of public-private partnerships and federal funding that hopefully will be a middle ground that both Republicans and Democrats can agree to,” Arena said.
The webcast is free for HSRupdates subscribers.
