Parsons Brinckerhoff appoints Yirigian to oversee Connecticut HSR program

Parsons Brinckerhoff recently named Robert Yirigian assistant vice president and senior engineering manager in the firm’s Glastonbury, Conn., office. He will be responsible for managing the engineering firm’s program management contract for the Connecticut Department of Transportation’s New Haven-Hartford-Springfield high-speed rail program.
Yirigian has more than 25 years of experience working on transportation projects throughout the Northeast, including a terminal project at Bradley International Airport, the I-95 reconstruction program in Bridgeport, Conn., and a MTA Metro-North Railroad bridge rehabilitation project in Norwalk, Conn. He previously was an associate vice president with a national engineering consulting firm, where he managed the Connecticut operations.
