It’s been one month since the Russian Railways launched its Sapsan high-speed service between Moscow and St. Petersburg. During that time, the trains have carried 77,043 passengers, with a daily average of about 2,500.

Sapsan trains run three times daily, departing from both St. Petersburg and Moscow in the morning, afternoon and evening.

Manufactured by Siemens Transportation Systems, Sapsan trains are capable of reaching speeds up to 155 mph.
