Senate to discuss FY10 transportation bill

Today, the Senate is scheduled to begin debating the FY2010 transportation appropriation bill, according to the Midwest High Speed Rail Association.
The House version of the bill includes $4 billion for high-speed rail, but the Senate Appropriations Committee approved only $1.2 billion.
