TTCI to supply wheel/rail measurement system for Chinese high-speed lines

The Transportation Technology Center Inc. (TTCI) soon will deliver a wheel and rail-force measurement system to the Chinese Ministry of Railways.
Featuring two high-precision instrumental wheelsets, the system will be part of the first comprehensive inspection train being manufactured in China, TTCI said. The train is designed to automate infrastructure inspections on newly built high-speed passenger-rail lines. The Ministry of Railways’ Infrastructure Inspection Center will operate the train.
