Rail Summit: Innovative Technology to Advance Rail Operations

Presented by Progressive Railroading, the summit will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. eastern time. It will feature presentations by CN VP of Customer Solutions/Innovation Mohit Bhat and Siemens Portfolio Head of North American Rail Infrastructure Jacob Street. Railroads are implementing more technologies to help run their organizations, from out in the field to in the home office. As railroads continue to look to make their operations more efficient and safer, new advancements will need to be implemented. The summit will review some of the recent technology being adapted by railroads as well as technological advancements. Learn how CN is using digital innovations to help advance the railroad and how IT innovations are being piloted and implanted at the Class I. The summit also will cover automated rail projects that involved positive train control, office solutions and automated train operation (ATO) technologies.
