Pasha Automotive Services plans to launch an automobile processing operation at the Tradepoint Atlantic multimodal industrial site in Baltimore, Tradepoint officials announced earlier this week.

The operation will be supported by a new purpose-built auto terminal, modern rail-loading facilities and direct rail access to CSX and Norfolk Southern Railway, according to a Tradepoint Atlantic press release.

Pasha Automotive signed a lease calling for 21 acres of improved land, with a potential expansion of up to 150 acres. The terminal will host a roll-on/roll-off service for imported cars, starting with Fiat Chrysler. The first vessel call is slated for July.

Tradepoint Atlantic will invest $5 million on infrastructure upgrades including berth improvements, security upgrades and additional roadways.

Pasha Automotive is a subsidiary of The Pasha Group, a global logistics and transportation company.
