Global freight forwarder and logistics service provider SEKO recently opened an office in Istanbul, Turkey.

The new office will offer ground, air and sea transportation, and multimodal services, including warehousing and distribution for inbound and outbound freight. Inbound shipments primarily will come from Chinese, Far Eastern and Balkan countries; outbound shipments mostly will head to the Middle East, Europe, Commonwealth of Independent States and United States.

SEKO now maintains transportation and logistics offices in more than 40 countries, including 47 North American locations.

“SEKO Turkey provides us with the opportunity to reach an increasingly cosmopolitan customer base in a developing and important part of the world economy,” said SEKO President and Chief Executive Officer William Wascher in a prepared statement.
