It’s that time of year again — time for BNSF Railway Co. to honor its trucking partners’ contributions to the Class I’s burgeoning intermodal business.
During National Truck Driver Appreciation Week Aug. 26-Sept. 1, the railroad is hosting events at intermodal facilities in Los Angeles and Fort Worth, Texas. BNSF employees expect to greet more than 3,000 truck drivers with “Together for the Long Haul” signs, and provide refreshments and giveaways.
The Class I also sent “thank you” kits to 82 trucking firms, including J.B. Hunt Transportation Services Inc., Schneider National Inc., Werner Enterprises Inc., Swift Transportation Co. Inc. and U.S. Xpress Enterprises Inc.
