Bowers joins KCS as SVP of intermodal/automotive

Kansas City Southern recently appointed Brian Bowers senior vice president-intermodal and automotive. Reporting to Executive VP of Sales and Marketing Daniel Avramovich, Bowers will direct The Kansas City Southern Railway Co. and advise Kansas City Southern de México S.A. de C.V. on sales and marketing activities.
Prior to joining KCS, Bowers served Schneider National Inc. for 10 years, most recently as SVP-global wholesale services. He previously was president of Hub Group Inc. in Dallas, Houston and New Orleans, and held various leadership positions with North American Van Lines and Roadway Express.
