CSXI tailors 'Threads Express' to meet garment shippers' needs

On Monday, CSX Intermodal will launch "Threads Express" intermodal service between North Carolina and south Florida.
Tailored for time-sensitive garment trade shipments and other commodities, Threads Express will offer fast and reliable truck-like service, CSXI said. The company will provide the service along with interchange partner Florida East Coast Railway.
CSXI also plans to establish Threads Express service between Charlotte, N.C., and Savannah, Ga., offering next-day availability in both directions.
